Day 351 of #liveWell2017

A year ago I needed new eye glasses, and I purchased my new frames from Warby Parker. One of the reasons I chose Warby Parker over other companies (besides their decent prices) was because for every pair of glasses they sell, they donate another pair to a person in need. Through their partnerships, they have provided eyeglasses for people in over 50 countries (including the Untied States). In addition, they also train low-income entrepreneurs to sell affordable eye glasses and start their own businesses.

Warby Parker leads the way on the eyeglass front, but other companies have adopted their model, including DIFF Eyewear and  Coastal. So, the next time you need a new pair of eye glasses, consider purchasing them from Warby Parker or one of the other companies who donates glasses to someone in need.

Buy a pair, give a pair. It’s a win for everyone.
