Forget the election hype for a minute. This is a sweet October surprise…

There’s nothing quite like checking the trail camera every day or two and finding a surprise visitor on the screen. It really is a thrill to know that there are so many cool critters padding their way around our property as we sleep each night. And while we’ve had a lot of whitetail deer stroll by the lens, last weekend’s deer was quite a surprise. This still shot, with his head bent down, makes him look like a bit like a Halloween demon, but the video – quick as it is – shows this guy in all his glory.
