Day 60 of #LiveWell2017
Welcome to March – month of the spring Equinox, St. Patrick’s Day, Dr. Suess’s birthday, and an endless list of national-something-days. I know sometimes it feels like the world is going “to hell in a hand-basket”, as my mother might say, but there is a lot of good happening around the world, in my community, and in my life.
Too often we focus only on the bad news and forget to be thankful for the good in our lives. So, I’m declaring this March the Month of Gratitude to highlight some of the best things happening from here to infinity and to remind myself of all the wonderful, little, crazy things that make life worth living.
We can choose to be grateful, or we can choose to be thankless. Either way, it impacts how we go about our lives each day. Taking time to stop and be thankful each day decreases our stress, increases our emotional, physical and social well-being, and improves our sense of connection to others.
I’m grateful for so much – and I’ll be sharing some of them during this month. I’ll also be sharing some ways to practice gratitude and some inspiration in the form of quotes and other blogs. Today, I’m grateful that I have this platform to use to share my thoughts about life, and I appreciate every single person who takes time to read it. Thank you.
Join me on this gratitude journey, and feel free to share the things you are grateful for each day. Let’s make the world a happier place by being grateful.
Would love to join you! Today, I am grateful for quality conversations and the opportunity to learn more about other’s worlds.
Thank you so much for your comment, alalyak. It is indeed a gift to be able to learn from each other.
