I left my home state of North Carolina in September of 1981 – 36 years ago. I traveled, worked, bought and sold a couple houses, raised a family, and made a lot of great friends along the way. This week, I return to NC and family, so this song by John Bon Jovi and Jennifer Nettles seems fitting…
