Kindness = good mental health for young people

Here’s a bonus post today, because I just read about a study conducted by Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation regarding kindness and mental health in young people. One of the key findings of the study was:

“Kindness matters. Young people who describe their environments as kind are more likely to be mentally healthy. That’s true for youth in high schools, colleges, and the workplace.”

Kids who experiences stress and mental health issues grow up to be adults with mental health issues, too. So, it makes sense that we work to make sure our kids and young adults experience kindness wherever they are.

You can read the full results of the study here.
