Day 152 of #LiveWell2017
I know I’ve said thanks to bicycles before, but today is the Kickoff Ride for Pedalpalooza, Portland’s annual month-long celebration of bicycles and biking! After a long, cold winter, Pedalpalooza gives every bicyclist in the metro area a chance to come together as a biking community and kick off summer fun.
We ride together in themed rides, in costumes, in protest, in celebration, in gratitude for a community of people who value biking as a form of transportation, social movement, political activism, and just plain fun!
So, what better way to begin another month of gratitude than to ride with friends and celebrate biking? Today, I am grateful for my bike and all the amazing friends I’ve made through biking.
Let’s make June a month of super, awesome, life-changing gratitude. By saying thank you, and feeling genuine gratitude for even the tiniest of things in our lives – good or bad, we can summon our own happiness and live our lives more fully.
Each day, I’ll post one thing I’m grateful for and ask you to do the same in the comments. Let’s fill each other’s hearts with our stories. Thanks for reading and sharing!
Grateful for great friends!
So are we, and you are among them! Thank you, Brenda.
Grateful for wonderful nurses and kind doctors….
That’s a wonderful thing.
