Day 10 of #LiveWell2017
UPDATE: Wednesday January 11th – we woke up to 8 inches of snow and it was still coming down, so we took a long walk into downtown as the city was just waking up…it was beautiful!

January 10th – Today, the weather forecasters predicted snow would start falling around 7 PM and continue through tomorrow around noon, with accumulations in the city of about 1 to 2 inches. When we looked out our window around 4 PM, the snow was already beginning to fall. By the end of dinner, we had about 1 and 1/2 inches on our railing. By the time we went to bed at 10 PM there were four inches coating our balcony railing, and the street trees were completely coated in white, with snow still falling at a steady pace.
Thankful that we were tucked cozily in our apartment and not at work or out driving in it, it was easy to embrace this beautiful winter storm. We weren’t alone in enjoying it. I saw and heard people walking down the street below us – laughing, playing, being joyful in the moment as the flakes covered their hats and coats.
The one thing that none of us can control is the weather, so the best way to handle it is to embrace it. I can’t wait to see what it looks like in the morning. Stay safe and warm, my friends.
Can’t wait to hear what you see this morning!
