Today we ran our first race since moving to Stumptown – the Adidas Shamrock Run. What a blast! 35,500 racers – from hard core half-marathoners to the little tykes on the Leprechaun Lap, and everyone had fun. The event – huge as it was – was well-organized and ran smoothly. The rain cooperated by easing up for our 5K run, and the post-race refreshments were amazing – consisting of smoked salmon chowder and Widmer beer! It was one big party from start to finish, and we loved it.
